Insurance Information
All insurance carriers are required by state and federal law to pay in network benefits for any member needing emergency medical treatment. We are an out of network provider, but we work with our patients to assure the best possible reimbursement from their carrier.
If you do not have insurance and would like to pay out-of-pocket, we can treat you - we have a simple fee-for-service plan. We accept all major credit cards and cash.

Because CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services) does not yet recognize Freestanding Emergency Departments, Medicare or Medicaid do not reimburse for services at ER Now at this time.

THIS FACILITY IS A LICENSED FREESTANDING EMERGENCY CARE CENTER. YOUR INSURANCE WILL BE BILLED FOR EMERGENCY ROOM SERVICES AND PHYSICIAN SERVICES. Per Texas Senate Bill 425 which took effect September 1, 2015, Texas House Bill 3276 which took effect September 1, 2017, and Texas House Bill 2041 which took effect September 1, 2019 relates to health care information provided by, and notice of fees charged by Freestanding Emergency Medical Care facilities, we are required to post a sign stating:
- This facility is a freestanding emergency medical care facility;
- This facility charges rates comparable to a hospital emergency room and may charge a facility fee;
- This facility or physician providing medical care at this facility may be an out of network provider for the patient's health benefit plan provider network;
- The physician providing medical care at this facility may bill separately from the facility for the medical care provided to a patient;
- This facility is an out of network provider for all health benefit plans.
*By state law, your health insurance carrier is required to process your emergency medical care at in-network benefit levels.

ER Now and Procare Wichita Falls llc will work with your insurer to file a claim on your behalf and use all reasonable and lawful efforts to ensure your insurer reimburses at the highest level of benefits in accordance with state and federal law and your specific benefit plan.
